postcard 2: my first time going on a trip with a friend
It’s been so long since I’ve done an international trip (since ‘20, to be specific). Bumble Beans (best friend who I met on Bumble BFF in ‘23) and I have wanted to do a trip together — initially, we planned for Maui and inevitably had to cancel because I carelessly caught COVID. With no actual refund and sparse credit, we knew that we needed to be the most careful prior to the trip, which meant, masks on everywhere and to those who we were unmasked around, they could not be sick.
Our trip to Taipei took place from December 13-24, but one day was “taken away” from us due to the 16 hour time difference.
