Recent updates from this past week that are relatively significant to me and my health or well-being.
ONE
I’m an author on a colleague’s dissertation, which is exciting! This is my first authorship contribution for a dissertation, and fun fact—I actually landed this opportunity by reaching out to one of the PIs I worked with during my MPH program about whether she knew of any ongoing projects that needed help and would yield authorship on my end. This colleague plans on publishing findings from their dissertation, but we have to rework the manuscript to make it journal-appropriate, as dissertation style writing is different from what is expected in a scientific journal.
